My Review

Holy crap did I enjoy this book people!! It had all the action and excitement never left me wondering what the heck was going on...it always had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who was going to win the contract! I love their competitiveness, it really added something to the book. I was fanning my face during most of the sex scenes too let me tell ya lol. I think I have read maybe one or two of this authors books before and I am being honest when I say this was the best out of them! 

When Shaw's past comes in to play and Cassidy finally finds out why he is the way he is I got a little sad for him. All he had to do to succeed is impressive but she was right he is playing at being someone other than who he is. But he was also right that she is too. The other HUGE secret that comes out is....well ....HUGE!!! I totally didn't see it coming so kudos to the author for keeping me on my toes lol. 

Overall I am rating this one in at a whopping four hearts and I cannot wait to read the next installment since this one left me hanging and made me impatient haha.

My Review

Oh how I enjoyed this book. I really liked the way the story has been going for awhile now and I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to review this book by the author. The story has continued with our characters now being engaged and they are about to be making a trip to meet his parents. We find out a horrible thing that happened when Erin is confronted by Blake's mother and we also find out a bit more about Erin's mother. I am concerned that Blake is continuously having the nightmares and doing nothing really about them. That is not something to take lightly and I do hope they leave him soon, he has been though so much and he deserves to be happy. I love how he finally has let loose and we know how he really is. Erin seemed to love it lol. The ending was sweet and sexy all in one. I am rating this book in at four hearts!!!

My Review

  I loved the Prologue and how we get to look into the past. I have always loved authors that give us that brief glimpse into the past and actually dedicate part of the book to helping us understand the back story  on some or all of the characters. 

While I have read other books by this author I had not had the privilege of reading this one and so when offered the opportunity I jumped in headfirst and with no hesitations. Now while I totally loved the book, I have to say that all the issues that arise from Justin and Heather not being able to explain their relationship in a way that everyone would be able to understand is a little bit silly lol. I do however love how she jumps to the defense of her best friend when she feels he needs it, but at times I want to say " Chill out chica!" lol .

I honestly have to say I knew something would end up happening with her husband eapically with the way Justin is always in their life. Other than that, the book is really quite good and draws you into the story.  I was quite sad when it ended lol. The author has a way with words and can have you almost there in the book with the characters instead of just reading it. 

Overall a great read!! Check it out!! Four Stars all the way!!

Rise (Cold Mark #4) by Scarlett Dawn

OMG Scarlett picks up right where the last one left off and without any problems brings us right back into the story.  I personally couldn't believe how long poor Jax and Braita had to wait to find out their fates, but I loved the drama and descriptions of what happens while they wait lol. When Rule steps into the picture I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. ...I actually liked the basted lol...but I loved the outcome. ..Totally rocked! Also new character ..Geo...yummy. I guess the more violent they are the better I love em'!! I am so impatient right now awaiting the next installment that I physically threatened the author.....not that I would really do it haha...to shake her till the words for the next book come spewing out!  I rated Rise in at 5 hearts because I love how the story is coming along and even though the outcome is up In the air at this point I'm curious what will happen!!!
